An Open Day
presentation of AIT and its Academic Programs
as well as INTRACOM Bulgaria's scholarship
program to Athens Information Technology took place
on April 15, 2008, at the Technical University of
Sofia. More than 100 students and the University
Vice Dean attended the presentation.
A second similar Open Day took place on April, 17,
2008, at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia.
Students and professors from the Information &
Telecommunications Technologies departments attended
the presentation.

пълни стипендии за обучение в чужбина дава ИНТРАКОМ
България на български студенти, обучаващи се в
Техническия университет – София, Софийския
университет „Климент Охридски” и Нов Български
университет, а именно: една стипендия за магистърска
програма по Информационни и телекомуникационни
технологии (MSITT) и две стипендии за лятно училище
в същата област. Обучението се провежда в Атински
информационни технологии (AIT) – образователен и
изследователски център в Гърция, който работи в
тясно сътрудничество с американския университет за
компютърни технологии "Карнеги Мелън".
Стипендията за магистърска програма по Информационни
и телекомуникационни технологии (MSITT) покрива
изцяло таксата за обучение, застраховката и
разходите за общежитие. Обучението продължава 12
месеца. Програмата дава на участниците знания, които
им помагат да са конкурентни в динамично променящия
се пазар на труда в сферата на високите технологии.
Крайният срок за подаване на документи е 06
спетмеври 2008г. Кандидатите ще бъдат избрани на
базата на академични резултати, ниво на владеене на
английски език, препоръки и мотивационно есе.
Кандидатстването се извършва директно към Атински
информационни технологии.
Стипендията за магистърска програма по Информационни
мрежи (MSIN) покрива изцяло таксата за обучение и
застраховката за пълния период на обучение от 16
месеца. Крайният срок кандидатстване е 15 май 2008г.
Атински информационни технологии е единствената
образователна институция в Европа предлагаща такава
програма разработена в сътрудничество с Карнеги
Мелон Юнивърсити (САЩ). Всички стуеднти успешно
завършили обучението си в магистърската програма по
Информационни мрежи на АИТ получават дипломи
директно от Карнеги Мелон. Кандидатстването за
стипендия се извършва директно към Атински
информационни технологи, а кандидатите ще бъдат
избрани на базата на академични резултати, ниво на
владеене на английски език, препоръки и мотивационно
есе.
Двете стипендии за лятното училище покриват таксата
за обучение, застраховката и общежитието. Семинарите
се провеждат през юли и продължават две седмици.
Обхващат теми от областта на инженерството,
технологиите, управлението и иновациите. Занятията
имат за цел да запознаят студентите с последните
постижения на технологиите и добрите управленски
практики. Първото лятно училище се състоя през 2005
г. и бе на тема "Нови технологии в ИКТ". Лятното
училище през 2008г. съдържа два модула: „The Present
& Future of Networking and Telecommunications” (30
юни – 4 юли) и „The Present & Future of Networking
and Telecommunications” (07 юли – 11 юли). Крайният
срок за кандидатстване пред АИТ е 09 май 2008г.

"INTRACOM Bulgaria announced the
winners of the scholarships for education abroad.
The company continues to invest in the development
of the Information and Communications Technologies
in Bulgaria
Sofia, June 15, 2006 - Mr. Georgios Roussos, the CEO
of INTRACOM Bulgaria announced that the winners of
the two scholarships for study abroad are the
Bulgarian students Svetla Georgieva and Pavel Zaykov.
The program in
Next Generation Computing Systems will take
place at Athens Information Technology (AIT) - a
non-profit educational and research center which
cooperates with the internationally acclaimed
Carnegie Mellon University of USA.
The summer school covers areas such as engineering,
technology, management and innovation related fields
and have the objective to train the students on the
latest technological advances and innovation
management practices. The applicants were ranked
according to their academic results. The first AIT
Summer School titled “Emerging ICT Technologies” was
held in 2005. The second AIT Summer School titled
“Next Generation Computing Systems” will be held
from 3 to 14 July this year.
Assoc. Prof. Rumen Pranchov, Vice Rector of the
Technical University was also present at the event.
The initiative for the cooperation comes from
INTRACOM Bulgaria S.A. and is a clear sign of the
commitment and the ability of the company to invest
in the development of the Information and
Telecommunications Technologies in Bulgaria.
Still running is the application process for the
scholarship for the Master of Science program in
Information & Telecommunications Technologies (MSITT)
at AIT. The candidates will be chosen on the base of
their academic achievements, recommendations,
motivation letters and level of English language
competence. The 12 month specialized academic
program provides participants with the training
necessary to meet the increasing demands of a high
tech labor market."
