AIT's Executive Training Programs are also offered as
tailor-made courses to meet the specific training needs of
companies and professionals. They are designed and organized
on the basis of specifications provided by the interested
party. Assuming that the required infrastructure is
available, these courses may also take place at customer
premises. Some of the thematic areas covered include
Computer Security; Wireless and Mobile Communications;
Broadband and Optical Networks; Intelligent WEB
Technologies; Programming and Modeling Languages;
Convergence Technologies; Telecommunications & IT
Management; Project Management; Innovation Management.
Full Course/Special Students: The typical
duration is 15 weeks with an average of four hours of
lecturing per course per week. Some of the courses included
involve substantial laboratory work, assignments, laboratory
exercises and exams. Selected courses from the Master of
Science in Information Networking (MSIN),
Master of Science in Information & Telecommunications
Technologies (MSITT)
and Master of Science in Management of Business, Innovation
& Technology (MBIT)

Short Course: The duration varies according
to the Executive Training Program selected. Four hours of
lecturing and laboratory work are offered each day, is usually as an afternoon session over a
maximum period of three weeks. It has the same target group
as the Full Course. Assignments, laboratory exercises and
exams may be included.
Hands-on experience through demonstrations and
experimentation in AIT’s hi-tech labs is considered a
significant asset in the Full and Short Courses, and all
participants have complete access to AIT’s electronic
library. Courses may be offered at introductory,
intermediate or advanced learning levels. Certificates are
awarded upon completion of the course.
The participation fee includes tuition, educational material and coffee. Special prices are made to AIT’s alumni, students, and
companies having more than 2 participants registered per course. For company
participants, it is noted that all programs are subsidized by the Special
Fund for Employment and Vocational Training («ËÁÅÊ» program) of the Greek
Manpower Employment Organization («ÏÁÅÄ»).
