Conferences, Fora and Workshops at AIT

• 3rd International Conference on Digital Interactive Media in Entertainment and Arts (DIMEA 2008) targets to the presentation of societal, business and technological advances and research results in cross-disciplinary areas related with digital interactive media in entertainment, art and creative technologies
   

• 10th Anniversary International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks ICTON 2008  is organised by Athens information Technology centre on the June 22-26 in Athens, Greece.
  The scope of the Conference is concentrated on the applications of transparent and all-optical technologies in broadband telecommunication networks, systems, and components. More specifically ICTON includes scientific presentations in advanced topics related with:

• Network design and performance issues for Access, Metro and Core networks

• Transmission studies for Ultra-dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing and Ultra-fast Optical Time Domain Multiplexing systems

• System and subsystem elements for optical switches, transmitters, receivers, regenerators and processing devices

• Optical and opto-electronic components (lasers, photonic Band-Gap structures, special fibre types, PBG devices, nanoscale photonics)
