The user is able to search for the material he/she desires (monographies, journals, reference material, encyclopedias, theses, dictionaries), get informed about the collection and make reservations of the wanted material through e-mail. The On line catalogue is accessible at: http://www.lib.ait.gr .

All the library material is available for circulation except for the informative material and periodicals. The copies are loaned for a period of 5 days and without the right to renew the loaning period before at least one week has elapsed and for 5 days for the members of Intracom who attend the relevant courses.
Postgraduate students and members of the Intracom group of companies are entitled to borrowing up to 5 items for 10 days at a time. Whereas the members of AIT scientific staff are entitled to borrowing up to 5 items for 15 days.
All categories of users have the right to renew the lending period twice as long as the respective material is not requested by other users. After the second renewal the same user cannot borrow the same item before at least 1 week has elapsed. For the renewal the user ought to bring back the item before or at the due day.
The titles of Selective Bibliography (SB) are loaned for a period of five (5) days, without the right to renew the loaning period before at least one week has elapsed and for two (2) days for members of Intracom who attend the relevant courses.
The loan period can be changed at the librarian's discretion and recommendation of the scientific head of the library for items in great demand for certain time periods.
The user who loses or brings back the material in bad condition is obliged to replace it within a week or, if out of stock, to pay for the item's value.
Postgraduate students ought to return the loaned material to the library before graduation.
InterLibrary Loaning(ILL) Service

Availability of use of the ILL service is offered to all AIT members (faculty, students and staff) and the Intracom Group of companies.
The source of ILL for the Library is the National Net of the Scientific and Technological Libraries (NNSTL) and is referred temporarily for the supply of periodical articles.
Indispensable condition is the application's filling. After its filling, it is given to the Library's staff for the ordering fulfillment. The user is informed of the coming material and receives it from the Library.
