AIT Career Office

AIT forms a small international community of individuals from different countries who associate and collaborate with each other through leisure activities and group project assignments. Since its establishment in 2001, AIT has welcomed students from Greece, South-Eastern Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa, and a variety of cultures.

The AIT Career Office carefully studies each student’s individual skills and employment objective in an effort to match them with the market and industry demands, inviting the students to choose from proposed career opportunities. To accomplish this goal, the AIT Career Office

  • assists the students in the preparation of their Curriculum Vitae (CV), format and content of cover letters and interviewing procedures in order to best present their profile and facilitate their search for employment

  • supports students and alumni by establishing direct contacts with HR departments of most major companies and promoting the students’ CVs to the industry

  • organizes the “AIT Career Days” during which representatives from a wide range of companies visit AIT, meet with current and graduate students, present their profiles and employment opportunities, and conduct on-site interviews.

Most AIT students seeking to immediately commence their professional career upon graduation, have been successfully employed in high-level entry positions by top companies and organizations such as Atlanta Consulting Ltd (U.K.); ACI Worldwide; Bloomberg L.P. (U.S.A.); Byte; Carnegie Mellon CyLab (U.S.A.); CecilRep (U.S.A.); Delloitte & Touch (Lebanon); EETT; European Dynamics; Hewlett-Packard (U.S.A.); Inaccess Networks; Intracom; Intralot; Intrasoft International; Mellon Technologies; Motorola; Motorola (U.S.A.); Otenet; Photronics Hellas; Q-Telecom; Samko International (Qatar); Siemens; Siemens (U.S.A.); Technosoft Inc. (U.S.A.), Zenon, etc. Students not embarking on their professional career upon graduation, may choose to use their qualifications earned at AIT to pursue a Ph.D. degree.
