Research In Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RIE),

Overview

The RIE supports and promotes research that expands the understanding of the theory and practice of innovation.  The scope of research covers commercial entrepreneurship and the processes of creative thinking generating innovative practices across a wide spectrum of industry and social enterprise. We investigate and analyze processes that can assist any organization in tackling today’s critical challenges in managing innovation in a technology-driven, globally competitive business environment.

Our Mission

AIT’s RIE group aims at creating an ecosystem that will foster and support innovation and knowledge based entrepreneurship amongst the Greek ICT community leading to the creation of wealth and social value through successful ventures.

AIT welcomes the European Creativity & Innovation Challenge

Dr. Manolis Kellis, Associate Professor and Director of Computational Biology Group of MIT received the 2011 Niki Award, for his distinguished contribution to science and his research into the human genome at the MIT Computational Biology Group.
