Q: What is the weather like in Athens?
During winter, it is better to dress in layers as outdoors it is cold but indoors the environment is usually overheated. Bring a raincoat, waterproof footwear, umbrella, hat, because when it rains in Athens the streets are submerged. If it snows in Athens, it only lasts for just a few days, but the streets remain very messy and difficult to cross. Summer is hot and sometimes very humid. Hat and sunscreen are essential. Clothes should be comfortable and loose-fitting.
