- Athens Information Technology (AIT), an internationally-renowned nonprofit education and research center in the fields of information technology, telecommunications, and innovation management, was founded in 2002 by the INTRACOM group of companies. In creating AIT, INTRACOM’s purpose was to build on the track record of excellence set by Greek scientists and engineers both in Greece and abroad, and to enable Greece to play a significant future role in these fields.

The British Council is the United Kingdom's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. The British Council builds engagement and trust for the UK through the exchange of knowledge and ideas between people worldwide. Currently the British Council has 7,500 staff in offices, teaching centres, libraries and information and resource centres in 233 towns and cities in 109 countries and territories worldwide. The British Council works together with a large number of Greek organisations – Ministries, universities, academic and research institutions and cultural organisations in both the public and private sectors. The British Council has close relationships with the British Embassy in Greece and the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
