The following judging criteria are made available to provide direction and inspiration on what the judges of the contest are looking out for in your submissions (gaming ideas and game prototypes). Whilst each criterion is taken into consideration, the judges will generally consider the overall package.

• Originality: How unique and creative is the application?

• Impact: How does the application make the world better? What issue does it attempt to address?

• Functionality: Does the application work quickly and effectively without any issues? Does it have interactive features?

• Usability: Is the application simple to understand and easy to use?

• Design and Aesthetic/artistic features: Does the application have a professional feel and user experience that integrates well with the device?

All criteria points must be addressed in your presentation.
