MSITT is an internationally competitive graduate program focusing on the needs of the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) market. The program is designed to offer training and specialization to students from different disciplines with diverse backgrounds addressing directly the current market requirements for IT and Telecommunications professionals. In this context, is offers its graduates in depth technical knowledge, hands-on experience, exposure to world standard research activities and the required managerial skills to become successful ICT professionals.

The AIT campus is located at Peania, just a few kilometers outside the center of Athens, ensuring a safe environment. Students can take advantage of a modern infrastructure, with the latest technology, including wireless networking, interactive amphitheatres, distance learning and fully equipped laboratories. Students have also access to the AIT campus library, as well as to the AIT dormitory, restaurant and entertainment facilities.

| Program Overview |
M.Sc. in “Information and Telecommunications Technologies” (MSITT) MSITT is an specialized graduate program focusing on the needs of the Information Technologies and Telecommunications industry and market. It addresses students from diverse backgrounds in science, mathematics and technology and provides the required training and qualification to excel in the job market. MSITT follows two directions of study: Telecommunications and/or Information Technology. Taking an interdisciplinary approach to Electrical engineering, computer science and Telecommunications, the program provides a link to industry and hands-on training in AIT’s state-of-the-art laboratories.
MSITT Graduates have the opportunity to participate in research projects, or successfully enter the ICT market through AIT’s national and international industry network. Also, graduates interested in continuing their studies, qualify to apply for a PhD in collaboration with Aalborg University in Denmark or the MSIN CMU program at AIT.
The duration of the program is 12 months for full-time students and 24 months for part-time students. Requirements for completion of the program are 4 core, 4 elective courses and the Graduate Project. .

| Program Summary |
In order to successfully complete the MSITT program, the student should take 8 courses (4 core and 4 elective courses) and the graduate project (126 units).
Duration of the program: Full-time students: 12 months
Part-time students: 24 months
Course load is defined as those courses for which the student is registered at any time.
a) Number of Course Load per Semester for Full-Time students (Fall and Spring Semesters) The minimum full-time course load in the program is 3 courses per semester. Students taking less than the minimum load must secure written permission from the MSITT Program Coordinator. The maximum course load is 5 courses per semester. Students taking more than the maximum load must secure written permission from the MSITT Program Coordinator.
b) Number of Course Load per Semester for Part-Time Students The minimum part-time course load in the program is 4 courses per year. Students taking less than the minimum load must secure written permission from the MSITT Program Coordinator. The maximum course load is 5 courses per year. Students taking more than the maximum load must secure written permission from the MSITT Program Coordinator.

Financial Support
The MSITT tuition fees total 17.000 euros. AIT subsidizes 50% of this total for its students, whose financial obligations to AIT amount to 8.000 euros. All accepted students are eligible to apply for scholarships and financial aid to cover this remaining amount of 8.000 euros.
