4 electives out from the complete course catalogue. Those electives could be chosen in such a way as to lead in a specific specialization.
Examples:
A student who chooses to specialize in Embedded Systems and Electronics could choose AIT-6, AIT-8, AIT-9, AIT-10, AIT-13 and AIT-17.
A student who chooses to specialize in Telecommunications/Networking could choose AIT-6, AIT-7, AIT-11, AIT-12, AIT-13 and AIT-14.
A student who chooses to specialize in Software Engineering could choose AIT-12, AIT-17, AIT-19, AIT-20, AIT-21, and AIT-22.
